The LIAPG Museum of Natural History
Guided Tour Through the Hall of Gems and Minerals is planned for Sunday, August 13, 2023!!!

• You will register for FREE to be in a LIAPG Member-group guided by a docent.

• You will need to purchase your own admission ticket in advance, which should be for a 10 AM entry. We are doing this because some people may want to purchase tickets that allow for admission to special exhibitions after the tour, and if you are a resident of NY, NJ or CT, you can pay what you want and have to do that registration yourself. Your ticket will get you access to all the permanent halls of the museum.

• These tickets can sell out quickly so it would be appropriate to get one at least a week in advance. These tickets can be purchased using the link below:

• At 9:45 AM, we will meet at the new Gilder Center entrance, as it’s super cool and it’s closer to the Gems and Minerals exhibit than the other entrances. The entrance is located at 415 Columbus Ave at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and W 79^th Street.  Here is a picture:

• Weather permitting, we plan on having a bring your own lunch/picnic in Central Park after the tour!
