LIAPG End-of-Summer Member Appreciation Picnic!

The LIAPG invites members and guests to join us for our End-of-Summer Member Appreciation Picnic on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Tiki Joe's, Smith Point Beach. Please join fellow members for an evening of food, refreshments, and camaraderie in a relaxed outdoor setting. This special event is our way of thanking our members for their continued support and contributions to the geoscience and environmental professions across Long Island and the greater New York region.

Set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, Tiki Joe's provides the perfect setting to unwind, reconnect with colleagues, expand your professional network, and celebrate another successful year of advancing the geoscience profession on Long Island. Enjoy a relaxed beachfront atmosphere, great conversation, and beautiful ocean views as we gather with fellow members and friends.

Guests will be treated to a Smokehouse Platter Barbecue featuring grilled steak, chicken, and sausage, potatoes. corn on the cob, house salad, fresh bread, watermelon & cookies. The event will also include a Beer and Wine Bar, with house beer, wine, soft drinks, juice, and water provided.

Whether you are a longtime member or new to the organization, this gathering offers an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, expand your professional network, and enjoy the summer season before the busy fall conference and project schedule begins.
